The Tampa Bay Times reports that West Pasco’s Habitat for Humanity has purchased a number of lots in the struggling Leisure Lane neighborhood, north of the Southgate Plaza shopping center and an area of high crime just outside New Port Richey’s limits. Habitat plans to build single-family homes in an effort to revitalize the neighborhood.
