Officer Christine Flareau was sworn in as New Port Richey’s newest police officer at the City Council meeting on March 17th.

According to New Port Richey’s 2014-2015 budget, the city employs 39 police officers. Officer Flareau will bring the total to 40. New Police Officers are hired as probationary officers for a one year term with a starting salary of $40,220.
