Wright’s Natural Market Opens Doors to the Community
New Port Richey, Downtown, FL (November 15, 2018) – Residents have been anxiously awaiting the opening of the new Wright’s Natural Market location (5800 Main Street) in downtown New Port Richey for over a year now. After months of working through several renovation-related delays, the much loved business quietly opened its doors to the public the last week of October. New store hours are Monday through Saturday, 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.
Customers who have ventured in are enjoying the new location with it’s brightly lit aisles full of new products, fresh organic and local produce, vegan smoothies, and locally roasted, organic, Fair Trade espresso and coffee. A common comment overheard by store employees is, “we are so glad to have this store so close to our home!”
Store owner’s Jeff and Kathy Wright are thrilled by the public’s response to the new store. “Our main reason for moving the store to this neighborhood was to make it easier for downtown residents to access fresh food.” says Jeff Wright. Residents now have the ability to walk, ride bikes, or drive their golf carts to pick up groceries. There will soon be a bike rack installed on the east side of the building.
While the store is currently open for shoppers, some items are not yet available as owners are awaiting licenses and employees are getting comfortable with the new departments and systems. “We appreciate our customers being patient with us while we get situated.” says Jeff. In the coming weeks more grab-and-go food items will be available as well as wine, beer, and kombucha beer.
A grand re-opening date has not yet been set however the public can tentatively look forward to some time end of January or early February which will also coincide with the store’s 25th anniversary.
