New Port Richey, Florida – The Public Works Department will begin the milling portion for the reconstruction of Circle Boulevard on Thursday, March 2, 2017. The milling should be completed by Friday March 3, 2017. The paving and temporary striping will be completed by Tuesday, March 14, 2017. As a result of the reconstruction, Circle Boulevard between the Sims Lane and Grand Boulevard will be closed to all vehicular traffic. Circle Boulevard will remain open to pedestrians to access Sims Park and Orange Lake. Please refer to the map below for individual impacts. Public Works Director, Robert Rivera, stated the road is expected to be reopened Tuesday afternoon March 14, 2017. The City will take all measures to minimize impact and inconvenience for residents and visitors in and around the Orange Lake and Sims Park area.
