Welcome back to business as usual…Or as usual as it gets!
Here are links to three important historic preservation resources in our community:
FIVAY.ORG is a massive and well organized collection of articles, photos, videos, and even audio files documenting the history of Pasco County, curated by Jeff Miller, who also does that work for:
The West Pasco Historical Society and Museum, which is located in Sims Park…
FRIENDS OF THE HACIENDA & HISTORIC NEW PORT RICHEY has the preservation of historic place in the city of New Port Richey as its focus…They are involved in the current plans to restore the hotel. Here are members on the roof, during a recent tour:
Here are information flyers for some of the upcoming New Port Richey events mentioned in the podcast…Info courtesy of Newsportrichey.org, Jon Tietz's excellent local online newspaper.
Finally, BIG applause for our friend Alex Centeno! Alex began performing here in Pasco County early this year…And things have really taken off.
He was chosen to perform at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino Tampa's J.A.M. Event…A live acoustic music showcase, taking place later in June (I'll be attending, and I hope you'll make the drive, as well!)…He'll receive a professional photo shoot, a Dean guitar, and an excellent shot at some BIG bookings…When you play the Hard Rock, good things happen!
Great work, Alex!
Don't forget! Tickets are available for the So Local Pasco Marine Science Camp Boat Day for Grownups (with BEER!), by clicking the poster image below! I'm really looking forward to a day on the Gulf with a bunch of my rowdy listeners!
