The New Port Richey Recreation & Aquatic Center will host five events this June, ranging from fitness to government to music. The events run June 4th, 11th, 18th, and 25th.

On the 4th, New Port Richey presents “A Walk in Sims Park with City Council” on June 4^th at 8:30 a.m. in Sims Park, 5547 Main Street, New Port Richey, Florida, 34652. The event will begin at the Amphitheater Stage and proceed for a mile walk around the park. The first 100 participants will receive a free chapstick, healthy breakfast and t-shirt. This event is free to the public.

The New Port Richey Recreation & Aquatic Center will host Midnight Basketball on June 11^th from 5 p.m.-12 a.m. Ages 10 & up are welcome to play. Admission is $5 for Non-Members and free for members. Only Gym A & B will be open; the Fitness Center and Pools will be closed. There will also be music by the House DJ.

The New Port Richey Recreation & Aquatic Center will host a Father’s Day Pool Party on June 18^th 6:30 p.m.-9:30 p.m. All pools will be open to everyone to enjoy and we will be showing Shrek on the big screen on the pool deck. Admission is $5; dads swim free with the purchase of child admission. Dads also get a free Rec Center Kooze.

The City of New Port Richey proudly presents the Summer Sunset Concert Series in Sims Park, 5547 Main Street, New Port Richey, Florida, 34652. This concert features Smooth Jazz from Shawn Brown. This concert is free to the public and will run from 7:30-9:30 p.m. Limited seating provided. Bring a blanket or a chair. Concert may be cancelled due to severe weather. The New Port Richey Parks & Recreation Youth Advisory Board will host Summertime in the City on June 25^th at Sims Park, 5547 Main Street, New Port Richey, Florida, 34652. The event will run from 5-8 p.m. and will cost $5 for a wristband that will include prizes, the dunk tank, waterslides and more. The event will be followed by the Family Movie Night featuring Minions at 8:30 p.m. which will be free to the public.
