New Port Richey developer People Places is hosting the first of two talks in what they are calling their “Talk About Town” series. The meeting is a free discussion series which they hope will spark a conversation on the nature and nurture of New Port Richey. The Spring 2016 talks will focus on urban design.

The first event is from 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM tonight at People Places’ studio at 5742 Main Street. You can find more information and RSVP on Facebook. The second talk will be held next Monday, May 16th at the same time and place.

Part one will introduce you to urban design concepts and show you how they affect you. When you leave you will be able to identify urban design elements all around you and have a better understanding of how they affect how you interact with your community.
