New Port Richey Fall Cleanup Day on Saturday, November 21

New Port Richey Public Works will be conducting its bi-annual “Neighborhood Fall Clean-Up” on Saturday, November 21st between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM. This is the larger of the City’s two annual cleanup events where volunteer crews will be scheduled to go through designated neighborhoods to pick up trash, brush, and other unwanted items including hazardous materials, paint, and metal.

Dumpsters and crews will be located at Frances Avenue Park and the “former” River Road Church property. Paper shredding will be available on River Road. The shredding is free and each household can bring up to six boxes of paper.

More details will follow when the City issues a formal press release.

Those interested in volunteering on this date may contact jrtietz[at] for more information.

It’s unfortunate that the same people who, like myself, that would have helped with the city cleanup will be doing something else that same day in support of this green city, that being Pasco Ecofest.

    • I don’t think the City coordinates much with anyone, let alone I believe the relationship between EcoFest and the City has at least partially reduced or ended. I know the event was moved to Starkey Park instead of Grey Preserve. I assume the event found the County more supportive.
