‘Zombie Fun Run’ at Grey Preserve – Oct. 17th – Ages 5-13

Zombie Fun Run

New Port Richey, Florida – The City of New Port Richey’s Parks and Recreation Department in conjunction with the Parks and Recreation Youth Advisory Board will be hosting a Zombie Fun Run for elementary and middle school aged children on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at 8:30 a.m. at the James E. Grey Preserve located on Plathe Road in New Port Richey.  The run for elementary aged children begins at 8:30 a.m. and at 9:00 a.m. for middle school.  Zombies will be staged throughout the course ready to chase and steal runners’ flags.

Registration forms may be picked up beginning on September 18, 2015 at the New Port Richey Recreation and Aquatic Center located at 6630 Van Buren Street.  Advanced registration through 4:00 p.m. on Friday, October 16th is $5/child.  Registration will also be available from 7:45-8:15 a.m. on the day of the event at $7/child.  All registered participants will be entered into a raffle to win a Mongoose bicycle.  T-shirts and other prizes will also be given to participants while supplies last.  This is a Fun Run only; the course is not a certified 1-mile and it is not officially timed.
