NPR Approves Lawn Maintenance Costs of $104,830

New Port Richey City Council approved a bid for lawn and landscape maintenance on public property in city limits in the amount of $104,830 annually.  The agreement includes landscape maintenance of City Hall and mowing and general grounds maintenance for city properties.

The contract was awarded to Lawn Techs of 8300 Leo Kidd Avenue in Port Richey.

The agreement updates an $80,160 yearly previous contract which specified lawn mowing, weed eating, and the blowing of sidewalks and edging on city properties.  The contract covers annually between August 1, 2015 and July 31, 2016. The contract can be renewed for two additional one year terms.

The maintenance does not specifically extend to sidewalks in right of ways in neighborhoods. That, by decree of local ordinance, is the responsibility of homeowners on adjacent properties–up to an including the halfway point of alleys.
