The next concert by the Richey Community Orchestra is Sunday, April 19, 2015 when the Orchestra presents “Lullaby of Broadway”. With all its glitter, imagination, rhythmic beat and dazzling diversity, Broadway represents the pinnacle of live entertainment in America. This show is jam-packed with the best from the Great White Way.
Performing with the orchestra for this lavish production is the Richey Community Chorus. The will perform From Rags to Ritz, a medley of songs by Irving Berlin, Fascinating Rhythmby George Gershwin, Seasons of Love from Rent, and a wonderful tribute to Broadway legend Richard Rodgers.
Maestro Stephen P. Brown will conduct the RCO, Pasco County’s premier symphony orchestra. The 50-piece orchestra has a membership of both professional and amateur musicians. The Orchestra will play selections from some of Broadway’s greatest shows including Fiddler on the Roof, A Chorus Line, Man of La Mancha, Chicago, Les Miserables, Cats, and Wicked.
