Main Street’s “Lunch & Learn” Promotes Clean Energy

Greater New Port Richey Main Street is delighted to welcome Charles Puccini, President of the Pasco Association for Clean Energy as guest speaker to the monthly Lunch & Learn on Thursday, March 12th.  All Greater New Port Richey Main Street members, guests and the public are invited to attend the luncheon hosted at Morton Plant North Bay Hospital, Meeting Rooms 2 & 3, 6600 Madison Street, in downtown New Port Richey, at 11:30 am to 1:00pm.

This monthly luncheon is a vehicle to receive timely information important to business owners, to network with other members, to hear about activities and events of the Main Street program, as well as an opportunity to learn about working with the different City departments.  Some previous speakers have included the new City Manager, the Fire Chief and the Police Chief, who each shared important information at the luncheon.

Mr. Puccinni will be addressing ‘Properly Addressed Clean Energy’ (PACE) for building owners who would like to improve energy efficiency and wind mitigation in areas such as store fronts, roofs, insulation, windows, interior and exterior lighting, solar thermal and solar PV. The intent of the PACE program is to provide funding not likely from other sources to bring buildings up to the 2015 energy consumption and wind mitigation standards.

“We trust that this information will be a valuable resource for local building owners, who will be provided with new opportunities to invest in their properties.  The luncheon also provides an opportunity for attendees to contribute to the direction of our organization, and to network with business owners and community leaders,” stated Debra Leone, Chair of the Membership/Organization Team of Greater New Port Richey Main Street.

Please RSVP by Mar. 10 to Debra Leone at Attendees can enjoy a buffet at the hospital for $10 (cash only). Feel free to contact the Greater New Port Richey office by phone (727) 842-8066 or email: with any questions.
