City of New Port Richey to Host Second Annual Puppy Paddle

New Port Richey, Florida – The City of New Port Richey’s Parks and Recreation Department will be hosting the second annual Puppy Paddle on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at the Recreation and Aquatic Center located at 6630 Van Buren Street in New Port Richey.  Dogs 18’’ & smaller are welcome to swim in the kiddie pool from 11:00am-1:00pm.  Dogs 18” & taller can swim from 1:30pm-3:30pm.  Proof of current vaccinations is required before the dogs can enter the pool.  Swimming is for dogs only.  The cost for this event is $5 per dog and people are free.  Activities will include a dog Halloween costume contest, door prizes, music, and each dog will receive a “doggy bag” from Pet Supermarket of New Port Richey for participating.  Registration will take place at the City of New Port Richey Recreation and Aquatic Center the day of the event.
