The City of New Port Richey Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a free movie night this Saturday in Sims Park. The feature movie will be Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The event begins at 5:15 PM and the movie will begin at 7:30 PM. The City will be running the park’s splash pad at full capacity and are encouraging residents to bring a blanket and a chair. Everyone is encouraged to wear Star Wars themed costumes. A costumed squad of Storm Troopers are expected to “invade” the event.

Come and Enjoy a fun filled afternoon and possibly meet members of the 501st Legion Tampa Bay Squad (dressed as Storm Troopers) and enjoy a give-a-way for kids present only. Event begins at 5:15pm and a showing of StarWars: The Force Awakens follows at 7:30pm. Bring a blanket or a chair and come out and enjoy a wonderful evening at Sims Park while being invaded of course!
