The City of New Port Richey is starting a new grant program to help fund local events in the downtown area that meet a set of simple criteria. The amount of each grant will be determined by a recommendation from the City’s Cultural Affairs service board. That board currently happens to have two alternate positions currently open, if you might be interested in applying.

Qualifying events must:

• promote the City of New Port Richey as a destination for visitors
• provide economic impact to New Port Richey and its businesses
• provide additional family-friendly programs

Applications for funding must be submitted to the Cultural Affairs Committee by July 13th for consideration for funding for the 2016-2017 season. You can download the application here and submit it at City Hall, or via mail to:
