Update:  FWC officers are investigating the incident reported over the weekend…That a speeding motorist ran over a family of Sandhill Cranes in Trinity, killing one of the babies.  Investigators say charges will be filed if they can prove the motorist struck the birds on purpose.

Sandhill Cranes are extremely vulnerable to car strikes, so PLEASE…If you see them near the road, use caution.
