NPR Announces Cotee River Cleanup – September 19th

New Port Richey, Florida –The New Port Richey Parks and Recreation Department will be hosting the Cotee River Clean Up on September 19th beginning at 8:00 a.m. at the Sims Park Boat Ramp.  Each year the Cotee River Clean Up coincides with the Coastal Clean Up to clean our waterways.  Volunteers with any type of water craft such as boats, kayaks and canoes are needed to travel the river to clean up trash.  The first 100 volunteers will get a free t-shirt.  Cleaning supplies will be available on a first come first served basis. All ages are encouraged to participate, and a volunteer lunch will be provided at Frances Avenue Park located at 5580 Frances Avenue in New Port Richey beginning at 11:00 a.m.
