#GivingTuesday is a day set aside around the world (and right here in Pasco County) for the only purpose of giving back. On Tuesday, Dec. 2, charities, families, businesses, community centers, and students worldwide will come together for one common purpose…to celebrate generosity and to give.  It’s a simple idea and great way to support the important work being done by the Sertoma Speech & Hearing Foundation, not only in this community but the entire state of Florida. Get your family and friends involved … and send in those unselfies!

Until then, Sertoma Speech & Hearing Foundation is promoting its Las Vegas Casino Night, a fundraiser that is being presented by the nonprofit to benefit its Children’s Hearing Help Fund on Saturday, Nov. 8, 2014. Sponsorships for this gala affair are now available with George’s Wholesale Tires as top sponsor for the event. This event will be held at the West Pasco Board of Realtors (5409 Sunset Road, 34652) in New Port Richey from 6 to 10 p.m. For additional details about Las Vegas Casino Night sponsorships, go to www.familyhearinghelp.org  or call the office at (727) 834-5479.
