See Farm Report for information on transmission schedule for the next three weeks (August 4, 11, and 18).

Eight weeks until start of the next Garden Year.  We hope everyone will renew.  Please let us know your intentions as soon as possible.  If you know others who might be interested in Friendship Farms & Fare, the CSA, the nursery, or the seed bank, please let us know, or direct them to the website: http://www.fffsite.org/

We harvested more sweet potatoes, so include them in your request, if you like. If you would welcome fingerlings, include that in your request.

We have plenty of okra and sweet potato leaves. We surpassed our previous record for okra harvests – 40 lbs. so far, and counting. No eggplant again this week, but there a number of plants have small fruit.  Special summer arugula is available.

See the Farm Report for brief details on Suncoast Acres, our egg source; and special note on “Sioux’s City Gardens,” which we are hoping will be a source for pickled okra and other cottage food specialties.

Review full Farm Report for the complete Share Report and news about our urban farm and its ecosystem.

Tampa deliveries will be Wednesday this week. West Pasco pick-ups will be based on schedule and distance.  Sunday is a good day to stop by the gardens, if you are in the area.  Just let us know in advance that you are coming by.  727-849-1626.
