The City of New Port Richey is hosting a “Florida Stands Strong” vigil for the victims of the Orlando tragedy.

Please join us this Thursday from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at Sims Park in downtown New Port Richey when the City will be hosting a Florida Stands Strong vigil for the recent tragedy that took place in Orlando. The community is invited to show unity and zero tolerance for such heinous acts.
During this one hour vigil there will be an opportunity to honor a loved one, family member or friend if you bring a single flower to place at the wreath. We will be standing together as one to show that we will not be defeated but instead grow stronger. Please know that you will have to provide your own chair or blanket during this one hour gathering.
