We have reached our highest average temperature (90 degrees). This average high will remain the same for three full months, until early September, when we drop back to 89. The September drop begins the gradual annual decline that lasts until late December, when we level out at 70 degrees for about one month. The average high temperature (90 degrees) is twenty degrees higher than our lowest average high of the year [70]), and the highest average of the year. Our average low is now 75 degrees, one degree lower than our highest average low of the year (76), and twenty-four degrees higher than our lowest average low [51].

Last Week (6/4– 6/10): Temperatures were a bit below normal most of the week, largely due to overcast conditions and rain associated with a weak tropical system that moved through the area. We recorded a bit more than 5 inches of rain.
This Week (6/11– 6/17): Temperatures will run a bit below normal all week. Expect rain every day, with greatest likelihood from mid-week (Wednesday, 6/15) through the weekend.
