An unlucky boater managed to get his truck completely underwater on EDIT: Friday at the New Port Richey Boat Ramp on the Cotee River just off Main Street. The vehicle was a yellow H2 Hummer and the vehicle was finally pulled out of the river by a tow truck.
The driver was attempting to unload his boat at the dock and left the vehicle out of gear, leading to both the vehicle and trailer sliding into the river. The video depicts another truck driver trying unsuccessfully to tow the truck and trailer back out.
This actually happened Friday evening, saw it while at M.O.M.’s Friday Night Market across the street from boat ramp.
