Rose’s Bistro Features Locally Grown, Organic Special — Collard Greens & Ham Hock

Rose’s Bistro in downtown New Port Richey will feature a locally grown and organically sourced Collard Greens and Ham Hock Soup from May 20 to May 25.

Chef Karl’s famous Collard Greens and Ham Hock soup is a southern favorite. The collards season is almost over, but there are still large and beautiful plants in the FarmNet gardens. FarmNet gardens around New Port Richey supply local markets, restaurants, and individuals with locally-grown fresh organic produce all year long.

Rose’s Bistro is one of many participants in the FarmNet garden project and every week Chef Karl at the Bistro prepares a special dish made from FarmNet produce.

Stop by and enjoy this traditional southern dish.  You’ll be supporting local businesses, commerce, and agriculture – and making a statement of commitment to local culture and community.
