NEW PORT RICHEY, FL (August 22, 2017) – An exquisite evening is being held by the Friends of the Hacienda and Historic New Port Richey (FOHH) to help raise funds for the restoration of the historic Hacienda Hotel. The August 26 event will be held from inside the main ballroom of the hotel and is the first social event to be held there in more than 30 years.
Plans for the night include a presentation about the hotel’s past, present and future by New Port Richey’s Economic Development Director Mario Iezzoni, heavy hors d’oeuvres and drinks, and live music from Creole Belle, Riptide, and artists Julie Black & Dave Eichenberger. Organizers have also prepared some very special door prizes. Tickets are available for a $100 donation per person. The Hacienda Hotel is known as a popular destination point for silent movie stars, artists, sports heroes, and social elites of the 1920’s, and also hosted many social events such as weddings, proms, and receptions over the years.
