Pasco Releases Videos of Illegal Dumping, Asks for Tips

As part of an anti-litterbug campaign in Pasco County, the County’s Stormwater Management department is releasing three videos capturing individuals in the act of illegal dumping. Residents who recognize any individuals in the videos are asked to call the Pasco County Litterbug Tip Line at 727-247-0567.

Case # 1332 – A man in a dark, Ford SUV dumps a cut up tree near Fivay Junction. 

Case # 1337 – Two men in dark SUV dump a couch and debris in the Hudson area.  (Warning: video contains offensive language.) 

Case # 1419 – A man in a white pickup dumps tree debris in the Land O’ Lakes area.

When calling the Pasco County Litterbug Tip Line, residents are asked to provide the case number of the video they are reporting.  If a tip results in a successful prosecution, residents can be eligible to receive a $50 reward.

This latest set of videos is part of an anti-litterbug campaign in Pasco County that started in July, 2016 when the first set of illegal dumping videos was released.

Individuals caught illegally dumping in Pasco County can be fined $500 per day, per item – plus possible cleanup costs.

The Pasco County Litterbug Tip Line at 727.247.0567 is for reporting illegal dumping violations seen in these videos only.
