New Port Richey, FL (Oct. 7, 2016) –The Friends of the Hacienda & Historic New Port Richey will be conducting free tours of the Hacienda Hotel at 5126 Main St. in downtown New Port Richey, on Saturday, Oct. 29, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. to allow the community to see the progress of the ongoing restoration of this local gem.
“The Hacienda Hotel can become the heart of the city again, and the Friends of the Hacienda are working to that end,” said Ed Isolani, founder and president of the Friends of the Hacienda & Historic New Port Richey.
The Friends of the Hacienda is a 501c3 not-for-profit organization whose mission it is to promote the restoration of the Hacienda Hotel as the central focus of the downtown area as well as supporting all historic aspects of the City of New Port Richey.
“We actively work with local groups and the City to promote growth by focusing on our unique history as the ‘Hollywood of the East,’ added Mr. Isolani. Although these tours are always free, donations are gratefully accepted. Also forms to sign up for memberships will be available onsite, and Hacienda t-shirts will also be available for sale.
