New Port Richey, Florida – The City of New Port Richey is proud to announce the installation of five new service memorials around Orange Lake in downtown New Port Richey. The memorials are part of Phase I of the Sims Park Improvement Project and were constructed by Commercial Concrete Contractors with the insignia plaques designed by Avalon. The installation of the memorials were under the direction of Hennessy Construction. The stone and granite memorials represent each of the five branches of the United States Armed Forces. Individual memorial bricks surround the walkway of the memorials and may be purchased in honor of your loved one through the City’s Public Works Department for $50.00.
