New Port Richey Police reported eight arrests in a sting on November 7th, according to the department’s Facebook page.
The eight were arrested on charges of Solicitation of Prostitution. All eight arrests occurred on the ever more infamous US 19 corridor.
On November 7, 2014, officers and detectives with the New Port Richey Police Department with the support of undercover detectives and deputies from the Pasco Sheriff’s Office conducted an undercover operation to combat prostitution on the US 19 corridor. During the operation, eight people were arrested for Solicitation of Prostitution. This is part of an ongoing campaign to combat prostitution and narcotics violations in the City of New Port Richey.
