New Port Richey’s interim manager for the last 20 months will step down effective today and Debbie Manns will begin her work as City Manager on Monday, June 2nd. Ms. Dillinger has recently been instrumental in the City’s work to open the downtown business incubator, due to open next week. She also simultaneously worked as the City’s Library Director and this year will receive the Florida Library Association’s (FLA) Librarian of the Year award, according to an FLA press release. Holding two full time positions with the City and “providing an effective and progressive library” were among the reasons cited by the FLA in awarding Dillinger the award.
Ms. Dillinger began her position with the New Port Richey library in 1990, following 15 years with the University of South Florida library.
