Directions for Living’s New Port Richey location at 5642 Meadowlane Street behind the former Community Hospital will close on June 14 due to lack of funding.

Directions for Living provides mental health services for both children and adults. Company spokeswoman Summer Lott says that the company employs 350 people and will “have a hit to these jobs” because of the lack of funding.

The location of the company is significant because of its proximity to the vacant Community Hospital building, and will lead to further vacant medical properties in the area.
