Pasco County Dept. of Health Offers Free Dental Care for Children Age 1-18

Did you know, February is National Children’s Dental Health Month?

Parents and kids need to defeat the effects of sugar, as well as maintain good oral health by brushing, flossing and eating healthy.

Oral Health and Children

  • Early childhood caries (cavities) is the number 1 chronic disease affecting young children.
  • Early childhood caries is 5 times more common than asthma and 7 times more common than hay fever.
  • Tooth pain keeps many children home from school or distracted from learning.
  • Children are recommended to have their first dental visit by age 1.

If your child is in need of a Dental care, please take them to the NPR Health Department clinic of Pasco County, They will be offering free cleanings, screenings, sealants and fluoride, to children ages 1yr to 18yrs old on Friday, February 12, 2016 from 8:00am to 12:00pm at the New Port Richey Dental Clinic on 10841 Little Road, New Port Richey, FL 34654
