New Port Richey, FL – On Tuesday, July 18, Suncoast Women in Networking (WIN) will hold its regular luncheon at the new Beef O’Brady’s in downtown New Port Richey (5546 Main St., 35652). Networking begins at 11:30 a.m. with the luncheon beginning at 12 noon. Members, guests, and visitors are all welcome. This new meeting location for WIN will continue through 2017.
The program speaker for July is Monica Rousseau with the Alliance for Substance Abuse Prevention (ASAP). Substance abuse occurs in every community in the country, causing death, disease, family instability, and economic problems. Pasco County is no exception.
What makes Pasco different from other communities is how it responds to substance abuse issues. Come learn about ASAP’s community-wide approaches to reduce the consequences of addiction, and how that translates into a movement that can make our community safer and healthier.
ASAP’s mission is to develop, motivate, and encourage community strategies that reduce countywide risk factors for addiction, thereby preventing and decreasing substance abuse in a comprehensive and long-term manner that primarily impacts the youth in the community.
Suncoast WIN is a group of professional businesswomen who meet for lunch to network and develop business relationships on the third Tuesday of each month. Membership is $10 per year. For information about the Suncoast Women in Networking group, contact President Linda McFarland at (727) 863-6151.
