NPR Public Library Hosts Ban(ne)d Books Concert with ‘The Hummingbirds’ – April 20

Spread the love

The New Port Richey Public Library is a hosting a concert headlining local Tampa band The Hummingbirds as part of their Ban(ne)d Books Concert Series.

)Southern Charm & Detroit Grit is the essence of this Americana duo. Their music grips both northern and southern Americana roots, blending grit and self reliance with hospitality and charm. They will be bringing the whole band with them for this special performance!

The Hummingbirds duo pull out all the stops when performing with their full band. Seasoned and passionate players with roots from the Midwest, and the South help create the musical backdrop that propel S.G. Wood and Rachel Lynn’s harmonies to exciting new heights. With TJ Weger on steel guitar, Don Cox on bass, and Joe Martin on drums, The Hummingbirds band is creating quite a buzz in Tampa Bay, and around the country as well.

Expect to hear tales of love and loss, sure, but expect the unexpected as they weave in stories of rattlesnakes and swamps, highways, and lighthouses.

We will be back at the riverside location, near the Main Street entrance, for this show! Books will be swapped, of course.
