The Market Off Main in New Port Richey has announced that they will be moving locations up the street to 6238 Grand Boulevard. The new location has been home to less successful venues in the past, including Papou’s Deli, Da Bronx Cafe, and former New Port Richey icon Cafe Grand.
The Market Off Main’s owner, Rose Mohr, said that a name change would come with the location shift. “We’ll be ‘Rose’s Bistro on Grand’,” Mohr said. Mohr said the move should happen sometime next week.
Market Off Main serves a varied menu, with quiche, salads, sandwiches, soups, desserts, coffee, and an authentic cuban menu from a formerly famous New Port Richey staple Juan’s Black Bean Deli. The Market also carries fresh, organic produce and promotes many locally grown events and vegetables, as well as a rack to buy garden seeds.
Located on the bank of the Cotee River, the Market Off Main is the perfect place for a quiet lunch or dinner. We offer an assortment of tasty food, made fresh daily with the best quality ingrerients and freshly picked herbs and vegetables from our garden. The Market Off Main is family operated. Rose is the particular and creative chef behind the MOM menu. Jerry (with major supervision) is allowed to fry fish for their Friday fish fry. Mom is a place where people can meet in an informal family setting. At the end of 2013, Rose added the Cuban menu previously made famous in downtown New Port Richey by Juan’s Black Bean Deli. Juan is a refugee from Cuba and came to the USA in 1960 where he opened his first restaurant in Hudson in 1972. Business groups, women’s groups, local clubs and organizations all gather at the MOM. Special occasions, including weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, etc. are always welcome to be celebrated here. Catering a special occasion chosen from our menu or any type of food can be prepared for you. We thank all of our wonderful customers for making this a special place.
Market Off Main is open Monday- Thursday 9 AM – 6 PM, Friday and Saturday 9 AM – 9 PM and Sunday 10 AM – 4 PM.
