Main Street Closure: Sewer Repair – Weekdays Feb 16-27
The City of New Port Richey’s Public Works Department will begin repairs on an aging sewer line beginning Monday, February 16, 2015. As a result of the repairs, the section of Main Street between Bank Street and Adams Street will be closed to all vehicular traffic each weekday from Monday, February 16th through Friday, February 27th. Nebraska Avenue will be utilized as an alternate route and Main Street will remain open to pedestrians. Due to the scope of the project, access to Main Street via Grand Boulevard and Florida Avenue will also be affected. Please refer to the map below for individual impacts.
Public Works Director, Robert Rivera, stated that the project is expected to be completed within two weeks and the City will take all measures to minimize impact and inconvenience for residents and visitors in and around the downtown area. For more information on this project, please contact the City’s Public Works Department at (727) 841-4536.
